The Gestalt theory emphasizes that the whole of anything is greater than the parts, even when all of the components are not evident, your mind fills in the missing pieces to create the understanding of the object as a whole. Light Pavilion is meant to serve as the physical manifestation of that thought process. The user is encouraged to use the pressure sensitive tiles as the trigger to fill the space with constant light. When all users work together the entire structure will be illuminated and perceived as a whole, not its individual parts.
